Wired for Wonder:  A Multisensory Maze
03 The Cave

Kidspace Children's Museum presents Wired for Wonder: A Multisensory Maze, in collaboration with Getty's PST ART: Art & Science Collide initiative.
Wired for Wonder invites participants of all ages to become both artist and observer, scientist and subject, unlocking the building blocks of meaning-making and perception while navigating a complex physical structure that harnesses color, light, movement, texture, vibration, and smell to interrogate and shift sensory experience.

As part of the USC Immersive Media Lab, I contributed to three chapters within the Infinity Room, each exploring color, depth perception, motion, and lighting.

In this chapter, we dive into the creation of a 3D cave environment, where viewers can lie on the ground and observe animated light patterns and small creatures that move in sync with the music. This chapter encourages a sense of intimacy and exploration as the viewer becomes part of the immersive world.
